What

Many pet owners like Husky very much, but how to buy a breed pure husky has become a lot of trouble pet owner question. Now there is a pet editor to introduce you to the method of choosing a husky.

First, the standard height and weight of purebred huskies

Huskies are medium-sized working dogs, generally speaking: purebred male huskies are 21-23 inches tall at the shoulders and weigh 45-60 pounds; Female huskies are 20-22 inches tall at the shoulders and weigh 35-50 pounds.

At the same time, the purebred Husky has a smooth, effortless gait, graceful movement; compact body; thick coat and erect ears.

Two, the temperament of purebred huskies

The typical character of purebred huskies is friendly, gentle, alert and likes to socialize. So it is very suitable for the elderly or children at home. It does not exhibit the strong territorial territoriality of guard dogs, it does not become too suspicious of strangers, and it does not attack other dogs. Great as a pet dog, but be aware that huskies are not suitable for housekeeping.

Three, the appearance of purebred huskies

Pure and impure huskies: first look at the bone mass and the amount of hair. Generally speaking, a husky has a large head frame, large paws, and a dog with rich hair is a good dog. (This is also a general criterion for selecting all kinds of dogs, of course, hairless dogs are not included).

1. The eyes of the purebred husky head are almond-shaped, with a moderate separation distance and a slight slant. Eyes can be brown or blue (different eye colors are acceptable if they meet eye color standards).

Ears should be thick, covered with thick fur, slightly arched at the point where the neck joins the head, with a strong erection. The tip is slightly rounded, pointing straight up. If the husky's eyes are too slanted; too close.

The ears and the head are out of proportion and appear too large; they are too far apart; and they are not erected vigorously enough. Such huskies are not very good. Thoroughbred huskies have a snout of moderate width, tapering to a point that is neither pointed nor square.

2. The husky's tail The purebred husky's tail is rich in fur, like a fox's tail, just below the topline. When the husky's tail is raised, it is not rolled on either side of the body, nor is it laid flat on the back.

Under normal circumstances, Xiao Ha will wag his tail when answering. Thoroughbred huskies have medium-length fur on their tails, with roughly the same length on the top, sides, and bottom, so they look like a round fox tail. Defects: Tail laid flat or tightly curled; base set too high or too low. 3. Husky's coat The purebred Husky's coat is double-layered, medium-length, and looks very thick, but it should not be too long to cover the clear outline of the little husky itself.

The undercoat is soft, dense and long enough to support the outer coat. The shag of the outer coat is straight, smooth and snug, not rough, not erect. (It should be pointed out that it is normal for a Husky to have no undercoat during the moulting period.)

4. Color of Husky Huskies are acceptable in all colors from black to pure white. Some other color spots on the head are common, including patterns not found in many other breeds.

When pet owners choose husky dogs, any husky that meets the above characteristics is basically a pure breed husky. And I believe that if you master these selection methods, you will definitely become a husky expert among your friends, and you will inevitably have to be pulled by others to help choose huskies.
