RaisingFishCommon sense--Fish raising is actually raising water
Water is the environment for fish to survive , just as one must live in the air. Everyone has already felt the harm of air pollution to human beings. If the water used for fish farming is polluted, the fish will not grow and develop well. Therefore, the treatment of water for fish farming is the most basic and most important part of raising fish well. The water used for fish farming must be clean, free from contamination, free from chemicals harmful to fish, free from parasites and viruses. In addition, the pH and hardness of the water are also required to meet the requirements of the fish's living habits. When adding the treated water to the aquarium, it is also necessary to adjust the temperature of the water to suit the living needs of the fish. With the continuous improvement of fish farming technology, the clean treatment of water is becoming more and more important. At present, people generally use tap water for fish farming. Since the tap water has undergone various treatments, the water quality is good and basically suitable for the requirements of fish farming, and no other treatment is required. However, a certain amount of chlorine gas is added to the water for sterilization during the treatment. Free chlorine dissolved in water is harmful to fish, so it must be removed. Water hardness adjustment. Since the fish is not too sensitive to the hardness of the water and can adapt to a wide range of hardness changes, it is generally not necessary to adjust it. However, some fish require low hardness water during the breeding season, in which case the water hardness needs to be adjusted. The hardness of water is determined by the amount of calcium and other metal ions in the water. These ions exist in the form of carbonates and sulfates, as well as chlorides. To reduce water hardness, reduce the proportion of these salts in the water. Water pH adjustment. The water quality in the northern part of my country is generally alkaline, and some areas in the south are weakly acidic, which can generally be used to raise tropical fish, and most fish species can adapt.
