Live fish should be transported in double-layer plastic bags for long-distance transportation. In order to prevent the bag from breaking, small species of tropical fish can use a string to seal the bottom corner of the inner plastic bag. For large species of tropical fish or species with hard fin rays, newspapers can be sandwiched between the inner and outer two layers of plastic bags, and then the plastic bags can be placed in a foam box or a cardboard box to fix it, and then it can be transported. When shipping:
1. Reasonable density
The density of fish in plastic bags depends on factors such as transportation time, temperature, fish size and type of fish, usually The transport density of fish with docile temperament and low oxygen consumption can be appropriately larger.
2. Stabilize the water environment
Pets According to our analysis, avoid direct sunlight in summer, add some small ice cubes in the foam box if necessary, and in winter It is necessary to put the plastic bag containing the fish into the foam plastic box, and add a thermal insulation bag with a water temperature of 50℃~60℃ to ensure that the water temperature is stable in the adaptation range of the fish on the way. Fill the bag with water to enable the fish to move normally, generally accounting for about 1/5 to 1/4 of the capacity of the plastic bag. The oxygen in the bag should not be overfilled, and the bag should be full and elastic.
When stocking, be careful not to rush the fish that have just arrived into the tank. Put the plastic bag into the prepared fish tank and soak it for about 20 minutes to adjust the water temperature, and then open the bag to let the fish go with the water. Into the tank, it is best not to cast bait within 3 days, watch the swimming state of the fish body, and then gradually cast the bait from the least to the most after it fully returns to the normal state.
