Rabbits love to have their ears petted. They don't usually like having people squeeze the potion directly into their ears, because it not only feels weird, but it sometimes messes up their ears and faces, which can hurt their self-esteem. This also means that rabbits are sometimes the least cooperative when it comes to ordering ear potions.
You could try putting ear drops on a rabbit on the floor, but a clever rabbit might protest you with its feet—after you squeeze the first ear drop jumped away. Placing the rabbit on a tabletop is usually easier to administer because you can secure the rabbit to the tabletop with one hand.
The first trick to applying ear drops is to point the ear drops close to the opening of the rabbit's ear (never start placing the medicine far away from the opening of the rabbit's ear hole!), so that As a result, when the rabbit shakes its head, the potion will naturally flow into the ear along the ear wall, and will not spill over your entire kitchen. The second trick is to try not to let the mouth of the ear potion touch the inside of the rabbit's ear, otherwise the rabbit will feel itchy and start to shake its head.
Once the ear drops have been dropped into the rabbit's ear, massage the base of the rabbit's ear to allow the ear drops to flow into the ear smoothly and evenly on the inner surface of the ear wall. After dripping the potion, you can wipe off the liquid that remains on the rabbit's cheek, and by the way, it also helps the rabbit retain its dignity.
