During the Renaissance, it was considered an ideal companion for European hunters, and it was the English Springer dog. There is also a Welsh Springer Spaniel. So how do these two petsdogs differ?

First, the difference in appearance
1. Hair color. English Springer Spaniels come in liver and white, black and white, or any of the above colors with tan markings. The Welsh Springer Spaniel can only be shades of red and white.

The English Springer Spaniel has a head of medium length, of considerable width, slightly rounded, with a slightly prominent foreface, a groove between the eyes separating the eyebrows or stops, and the forehead tapers toward the occipital bone, which should not be too pronounced. 3. Ears. The English Springer Spaniel's ear blades are small, well-suited length and width, very close to the head and in line with the eyes. Has beautiful feathers. The Welsh Springer Spaniel has low ears that hang down close to the cheeks. Relatively small, tapering towards the tip of the ear, shaped like a grape leaf.
4. The tail. English Springer Spaniels are usually tail docked. The docked tail is lowered, never higher than the back. It has good fur and can move happily. 5. The snout. The foreface of the English Springer Spaniel is moderate in length to the skull, broad and deep, with a well-defined outline below the eyes. The snout of the Welsh Springer Spaniel is medium in length, straight and in a regular square.
Second, the difference in character
1. Character. The English Springer Spaniel is friendly, obedient, and docile. The Welsh Springer Spaniel is muscular, cheerful and very active. Friendly and steady, not aggressive or awkward.
2. Feeding. The English Springer Spaniel is the quintessential English Springer Spaniel, a friendly, eager to please, learn, and obedient dog. Such characteristics facilitate management and are easily controlled by the appropriate dog handler in the wild. During the game, appear calm and dedicated, allowing the referee to examine its body, neither angry nor flattering. The Welsh Springer Spaniel is happy, agile, and unwilling to be restrained. A spacious living environment is required.
