The Cat Lovers Association (CFA), founded in 1906 by a group of cat lovers in the United States, is a non-profit organization. The organization is headquartered in the United States and has branches in other countries. CFA has formulated many breeding standards for different types of cats. Cat lovers can register as members in the organization. If the cats of members meet the standards of CFA, they can classify their cats and send them to exhibitions and competitions. So what is the CFA standard for Ragdoll?

The English name of Ragdoll is: ragdoll. rag in English means cloth, doll means doll, this kind of cat is named ragdoll, which means that they completely trust the gentle personality of the believer. When you hold the Ragdoll, he will lie relaxed in his owner's arms.

History: The exact origin of ragdoll cats can be traced back to the 1960s, when a woman living in California, Ann Baker (Ann Baker), started breeding ragdoll cats. The breeding cat is called Ephine Josephine and it is an all white mixed breed longhair cat. Amber was originally a Persian cat breeder. Before she started breeding Ragdolls, most of her cats were black. After she asked Josephine from her neighbor to go home, she went outdoors to look for kittens that were born after Josephine had been paired with different male cats. Amber found two of them and caught them all. And the breeder that Amberke found, called Warbucks, has a white nose and a white tail. Amber had him mate with other female cats, and the resulting kittens all had Siamese-like accents.
