German Shepherd
Imitation training method
Imitation training method is to have a trained German Shepherd watch how a well-trained German Shepherd is trained and rewarded. Influenced and inspired by it. This method can vividly and effectively let the German Shepherd understand what to do, and the training effect is sometimes beyond the mechanical stimulation method.
Mechanical Stimulation
Mechanical Stimulation is a method of using implements to control the behavior of German Shepherds when they do not obey instructions. The most commonly used is a leash (dog leash). When the German Shepherd is accompanied and trained, if it does not act according to the owner's intention, it can pull the leash, forcing it not to do anything against the owner's will.
Mechanical stimulation and reward training method
This method uses mechanical methods to force German Shepherds to follow instructions when they refuse to be trained, while simultaneously Rewards are given when the action is successful or improved. If the mechanical stimulation is too strong and too frequent, the German Shepherd will have the opposite reflex, fear and avoid it from the beginning of each training, and cannot remember the essentials of the action. Although the reward is necessary, it should be moderate. If the reward is too much, it will affect the normal appetite and is not conducive to future training. It can be combined with touching and verbal praise to achieve the purpose of reward.
Food Stimulation
Food Stimulation is a method of rewarding German Shepherds with food when they are successfully trained or attract their attention to motivate training. If you only train and ignore the reward, the German Shepherd will feel that training is a very meaningless thing, and all training methods are futile. Food stimulates the German Shepherd's conditioned reflex, letting him know that it's good to be obedient.
