Squirrels have been living in the wild before, but in recent years, squirrels have been kept as pets at home. After all, the home conditions are limited, but they have been well domesticated condition. So how do we train squirrels? Let them get close to us.
Tricolor squirrel
The squirrel is A cute little animal. Generally speaking, squirrels are suitable for living in the wild, but families with conditions can also domesticate them. Squirrels are relatively timid and sensitive animals, so when training squirrels, start by not scaring them in order to lay a good foundation for training.
In training, when the squirrel is hungry, you can give it to the squirrels' favorite walnuts and millet through the cage through the wire mesh. After a few days, open the entrance of the cage slightly and pass the food in. At the beginning, squirrels may feel scared, but after 10 days of repeated training, they can basically adapt to it with peace of mind.
When the squirrel is no longer afraid and becomes familiar with the owner, put the food near the entrance of the cage and lead the squirrel to come out to eat. In the beginning, squirrels may burrow back into their cages as soon as they get their food. After repeated training, let it adapt. Remember, however, that the entrance to the cage must remain open to prevent the squirrels from panicking and fleeing elsewhere.
After a period of training, squirrels will gradually become familiar with people. When hungry, it will take the initiative to ask for food. Usually jump on people's shoulders or arms to play. At this time, you can really appreciate the fun of raising small animals.
