The Siberian Husky (Russian: Сибирский хаски, Sibirskiy haski, English: Siberian husky) is commonly known as Husky. The Siberian Husky weighs between 25 to 55 pounds (16 to 27 kg) and is about 20 to 23.5 inches (51 to 60 cm) tall. It is a medium-sized dog. The Siberian Husky is an original ancient dog breed that lives in northeastern Siberia and southern Greenland. The origin of the husky's name comes from its unique hoarse sound.

Introduction

Huskies have changeable personalities, some are extremely timid, and some are extremely violent. Huskies who have entered the mainland and their families have no such extreme personalities, and are more docile. It is a popular pet dog around the world.

The Siberian Husky has thicker coat than most

most breeds, and comes in a variety of colors and patterns. Usually they have white claws and limbs, a patterned face and a pointed tail. The most common coat color combinations are black and white, gray and white, copper-red and white and pure white, and many individuals also have brown. , reddish hairs, gray-brown shades or mottled spots. It is also very common to have various patterns on the face similar to masks and glasses. Despite their smaller size and softer coat, Siberian huskies have a wolf-like appearance because their genes are the closest to the original wolf than other breeds of dogs,[1] Expressions can often switch between handsome and cute in an instant.

Eyes

Usually brown, beige, or blue. Light blue wink is a common wink, but there are exceptions, a dog may have one eye brown or light brown and the other blue, a phenomenon known as bi-eyed; Or a blue eye in one eye and a variegated iris in the other, known as heterochromia iris, referred to as parti-eyed by Siberian Husky enthusiasts. Among the dog breeds that are generally kept by people, the Siberian Husky is one of the few dog breeds that can have two eyes of different colors. At the same time, it is also one of the few dog breeds with blue eyes.

Ears and Tail

The Siberian Husky (side) is triangular in shape, bushy, medium in size, and generally erect. The tail is brush-like and has a shape similar to that of a fox's tail, usually in the shape of an upward scythe.

The coat of the Siberian Husky consists of two layers: a dense, cashmere undercoat and a long, coarser topcoat containing short, guard hair. They shed their undercoats only once a year, and this process of shedding old coats is often referred to as blowing their coats. Dogs that live mainly indoors generally do not shed their hair completely throughout the year, so there is not much shedding. Plus, they don't need to be brushed as often; since soiled hairs naturally fall out, bathing isn't usually necessary. Also, the dog will often clean its own fur as carefully as a cat does. A healthy Siberian Husky has no body odor. Their ears are soft and they hear well.

Nose

Like all dogs, the Siberian Husky's nose is usually cool and damp. In some cases, the Siberian Husky (Husky) can exhibit what is called a 'snow nose' or 'winter nose'. This phenomenon, known technically as hypopigmentation, is caused by a lack of sunlight in winter, which causes the nose (or part of it) to fade to brown or pink. It will be back to normal in summer. Snow nose is also seen in other shorthaired breeds; this color change in older dogs may be permanent, although it is not associated with disease.
