The Amazonian python, also known as the Amazonian boa, is the apex predator of the Amazon. A fully grown Amazon python can reach 6 meters in length and weigh 300 pounds, making it the largest snake in the world today.
After understanding how big the Amazon python is, let's introduce its living habits.

The Amazon python is water-loving and usually lives in mud banks or shallow waters. It preys on water birds, turtles, capybaras, tapirs, deer, voles, etc., and is called deer-eating beasts by the local Indians, and sometimes even devours Caimans up to two and a half meters long. The Amazonian python will wrap the caiman tightly until it suffocates to death, then swallow it whole and eat it for several weeks.
