The Indian star turtle cannot be raised in deep water. The hometown of the Indian star tortoise is in India and Sri Lanka. The temperature in these places is generally high all year round, which is the preferred growth environment of the Indian star tortoise. We need to put the Indian star tortoise in a constant temperature breeding box, keep it between 28 degrees and 30 degrees, and ensure a certain degree of humidity.

The Indian star tortoise should be kept in the sun for a certain period of time every day. If grown in a dark and humid environment for a long time, the Indian star turtle can breed parasites and skin diseases. Therefore, when the sun is good in the morning and afternoon, you can take them out to dry, but you must also pay attention to time control and do not expose them directly.
It is necessary to bathe the Indian star tortoise in time. Bathing can effectively protect its health, improve their digestive function, prevent stones and other diseases, and remove parasites in time. Be sure to control the surrounding temperature when taking a bath. You can't dry them naturally after bathing, but dry them with a soft cloth. If you find that the Indian star tortoise is not in good spirits or has symptoms such as runny nose and tears, you must not delay to make the condition worse, and take it to the veterinary hospital for treatment in time.
