How to raise Japanese ground turtles:
1. Space: When breeding Japanese ground turtles, it is very important to maintain a suitable ecological environment. Because Japanese ground turtles are semi-aquatic animals, it is better to adopt a layout pattern of half shallow water and half sand in the tank. The sandy soil can be 3-5 cm thick. Some green plants can be planted on the sandy soil to create a good living environment for Japanese ground turtles.

2. Feeding: Japanese ground turtles are omnivorous animals, and they are never picky eaters. But Japanese ground turtles prefer meaty foods, such as tadpoles, snails, etc. Plant foods can also be fed appropriately, such as algae, aquatic plants, etc. Also, fruit and vegetable foods such as apples, bananas, lettuce, etc. can also be used. However, before feeding, it must be sterilized, washed and chopped before feeding.
3. Water level: Japanese ground turtles are semi-aquatic turtles. The water level should not be too deep, and the water level should not exceed twice that of the Japanese ground turtle shell. Maintaining a suitable water level is a very important part of breeding Japanese ground turtles.
4. Water temperature: The water temperature has an impact on the growth rate of Japanese ground turtles. The temperature needs to be kept suitable during breeding, preferably between 22-28 degrees.
