The black-lined flying fox generally reproduces naturally during the breeding process. As long as the black-lined flying fox reaches the mature stage, it can mate and reproduce by itself. During the breeding season of black-line flying fox, it is only necessary to ensure healthy water quality and suitable temperature.

The black-lined flying fox is native to the Mekong River and other rivers in Southeast Asia , gray-brown, slender, oviparous, suitable for viewing. The black-lined flying foxfish is slender, grey-brown with distinctive black horizontal stripes, and can reach a maximum length of 15 cm. Lifespan is more than 10 years. Black-line flying foxes can be mixed and will chase each other but not attack.
Black-line flying foxes are not picky eaters and are highly receptive to various bait. Normal fish food, algae feed and cucumber slices are acceptable. Overfeeding is not advisable as it may cause the black-lined flying fox to become sluggish. Prefers to eat thinly sliced fish food rather than algae.
