Giant Chinchilla rabbits are sick, and they usually strengthen their feeding and management, and do not feed moldy and spoiled feeds and forages. Keep the rabbit house clean, dry, at the right temperature and well ventilated. Feed troughs and sinks are regularly brushed and disinfected. Drinking water should be hygienic, and bedding should be changed frequently. Feeding weaned young rabbits should be timed and quantitative to prevent overeating. Change of feed should be done gradually.

Treatment: If a sick rabbit is found, the feeding should be stopped, but Water is available as usual. When the constitution is good, take 2-3 grams of laxatives such as artificial salt, add 40-50 ml of water, or 10-20 ml of vegetable oil. Feed 2-3 yeast tablets or 4-6 lactase tablets every 1-2 hours, 2-3 times a day.
Antibiotics can be used when the giant Jinjira rabbit has severe diarrhea, such as dietrine, sulfamidine, difenac, etc., 1 to 2 tablets per rabbit, 2 to 3 times a day, continuously fed 2 ~3 days. Or use broad-spectrum antibiotics, such as gentamicin, chloramphenicol, 0.5 to 1 ml per rabbit, intramuscularly, 2 times a day, for 3 days. Giant Chinchilla rabbits with poor appetite can take stomach-strengthening agents, such as 2 to 4 ml of garlic tincture, gentian tincture and tangerine peel tincture. Or intravenous injection of glucose saline, 30-50 ml of 5% glucose solution, 1 ml of 20% sodium anhydrous coffee solution, and 1.0 ml of vitamin C, 1 to 2 times a day, for 2 to 3 days.
