The long-bearded Collie Shepherd is native to England and originated in the 16th century. It is said to have been passed down by sailors who brought the Polish Lowland Sheepdog to Scotland centuries ago after mixing it with local Scottish breeds, especially the old English Sheepdog. Later it is said that two different breeds of bearded dogs were formed, a smaller one, mainly assisting sheep herding in the Scottish Highlands, and using non-stop barking to drive away the outdated and hidden sheep.

The other size is relatively large, mainly distributed in Scottish Lowlands, with coarse black fur. The modern bearded dog is believed to be a fusion of these two breeds. The current long-haired Collie is not only a working dog, but also can adapt to home life. Therefore, the number of family pet dogs and companion dogs is rapidly increasing, and it is extremely hard-working, even living outdoors. Willingly.
