Fiji The main difference between the striped iguana and the Fiji giant iguana is the width of the stripes. The former has very wide stripes and the color is gray-blue; the latter has very thin stripes and the color is white. The scales on the iguana are also relatively small. The size of the Fiji iguana is at least 10 cm larger, and the scales on the back are black and relatively thick. In addition, Fiji striped iguanas are male and female, and only males have stripes, but females do not; while Fiji giant iguanas are monochromatic, and males and females can only be distinguished by relying on the femoral hole. Both species have gecko-like color-changing abilities.

However, Indonesian reptile breeding farms have begun commercial breeding, and this dream iguana should gradually appear on the market in the near future.

Since Fiji iguanas are not suitable for social life, it is better to keep them individually in the young lizard stage and in pairs for the adults. Females can lay 3-7 eggs per litter, which take about five months to hatch. It is not difficult to raise young lizards, and they can be raised well in a similar way to adult lizards. If they are fed, they use fruits as their main food and various insects as their supplementary food. They do not drink very much still water, and mainly use the dew on the leaves to quench their thirst, so it is very important for them to maintain a high humidity environment. Height is dominant.
