The tricolor scorpion (Latin name: Opistophthalmus ecristatus), also known as the South African tricolor scorpion, is native to the dry deserts of South Africa. The body length is 15 to 20 cm, the pincer limbs and cephalothorax are yellow-brown, the front of the pincer limbs and the body are dark brown, and the limbs and tail segments are light yellow, so it is named tricolor scorpion. Likes to eat small crickets, spiders, small and medium insects.
