The mates of humpback whales are monogamous, and the females give birth every 2 years. The gestation period is about 10 months, and each litter produces 1 cub. When the female is carrying the calf, there is often another male closely behind, its task is to intercept other invading whales or boats, but if it encounters the vicious and cunning killer whale, it can't do anything about it. Like other mammals, females feed their cubs with milk, the milk is automatically squeezed out from the nipples, and the cubs suck in the water. The cubs develop rapidly and can gain 40-50 kilograms in weight every day. What is even more impressive is the female beasts. Provides all nutrients for the growth of the cub during lactation, while it does not eat for a long time on its own, and does not start looking for food until a few months later. There is often a warm feeling between the female beast and the cub, and the cub touches the female beast with its two fins, sometimes as if grabbing onto the female beast. Humpback whales have a lifespan of 60-70 years.
