Liuli Hall prefers a growing environment with sufficient sunlight, and its growth will be hindered in direct sunlight. The plant is easy to grow leggy, the plant shape is loose, and the soil requirements are not strict. It grows best in sandy loam with good ventilation and drainage. It can tolerate half shade, not too shade, avoid water accumulation, drought resistance, and frost resistance.

Liu Lidian is commonly propagated by ramets and cuttings. Divide can be carried out all year round. Often when changing pots in April to May, the small plants that grow next to the mother plant are stripped of their mothers, and they are directly potted. For cuttings, the fleshy leaves are gently cut off from May to June, and the semi-lignified part is placed on the base. It is inserted in a sand bed.
