1. Morphology of Yecigu
Yecigu is a perennial aquatic or marsh herb with rhizomes running horizontally, relatively thick and swollen at the ends. The leaves are emergent leaves, arrow-shaped, and the length and width are not fixed. The root of the petiole is relatively broad, sheath-like, with a membranous margin and transverse stem veins. The scape is relatively erect, usually ranging from 20 cm to 70 cm in height, and is relatively stout. The inflorescences are racemose or cone-shaped, 5 to 20 cm long, sometimes longer. One or two branches and one or two flowers per round. Three bracts, unisexual flowers, tepals are reflexed. 3. Cultivation of Wild Cigu
