The puppy is not fully mature until it is two years old, but the education of the puppy must start from the first day it is born. If you educate your pet properly from the start, you will develop it into a pet that is well behaved and polite to you and makes you proud. If you don't work on it in the first year, it will become a hopeless jerk. How would you feel if a cocker dog barked nine hundred times in ten minutes?
It's actually quite normal, barking and whining are completely natural behaviors. Some of the unbearable behaviors we find in dogs are mostly canine nature. We have to understand dog barking this way: There are no apartments in the wild with thin walls, no regulations to ban noise, and no neighbors who sleep during the day. In their natural environment, puppies bark or whine to let the bitch know they are hungry or lonely, but at home, this uncontrollable instinct drives people crazy.
Noise control strategies: Kennels are dark places where puppies eat and sleep, and many dog owners choose wicker baskets to imitate a dog's natural nest. A well-designed wicker basket can help it with problems such as pooping, grinding teeth, and it can also help dogs overcome barking problems caused by loneliness. Wicker baskets quickly make puppies comfortable when they are alone. But the wicker basket limits the puppy's field of vision, and the puppy can't tell if you're with it, so you have to gradually teach it to get used to being alone. A simple training procedure is to first feed in a wicker basket. The wicker basket can be opened at first and the puppies can stay in it voluntarily. After about a week, close the inlet and outlet during eating. Puppies tend not to bark much when sleeping or in dark places. Sometimes just a blanket over the wicker basket can induce a puppy to sleep or be quiet. The wicker basket can focus your pet's attention on the object you have prepared for it, instead of focusing on whether you are around it. If you can secure the food in the wicker basket, close or open the inlet and outlet periodically, and leave the room, the puppy will lick the food beautifully throughout the process. This will allow the puppy to develop a habit of being alone and be quiet when no one is around.
Note: Wicker baskets, like all other tools, should not be abused. It is advisable to leave your dog at home in a wicker crate while shopping at the store, but keeping him in a crate for up to 10 hours a day is excessive.
