Summer is the period with the highest water temperature and the fastest growth of fish in a year. It is necessary to strengthen the feeding and management at this stage to promote high yield of fish.
1. Topdressing fertilizers Fertilizing can improve water quality and cultivate natural bait to ensure the feeding needs of pond fish. All kinds of fish ponds, especially those dominated by silver carp, should be properly topdressed. Due to the hot weather in summer, the high water temperature, the rapid decomposition of organic matter, the most plankton reproduction, the high oxygen consumption of fish, and the change of temperature, the water quality is easy to deteriorate, so the amount of fertilizer applied at one time should not be too much. The amount of fertilizer applied depends on the weather, water color and species of the fish being raised. If the weather is sunny, it can be applied more appropriately, and in rainy or hot days, it should be applied less or not; the water color is light, light yellow or light green, and the transparency is large, and the water is brown-green, oil-green or reddish-brown, and the transparency is about 30 cm. Less or no fertilization can be applied; more fertilization should be applied to fish ponds that feed silver carp, bighead carp, and crucian carp, and less fertilization to fish ponds that raise herring or grass carp. Avoid food courts when fertilizing.
2. Feeding Feed The feed feeding amount from July to September should account for 60% of the total feeding amount in the whole year. A larger amount in the morning and evening, a smaller amount in the afternoon. It is required to combine early green material, medium concentrated material and late green material. The feed to be fed should be fresh and appropriate, and no spoilage feed should be put in. There should be a fixed food court for feeding. or not to vote.
Three, strengthen the management of the pond every morning and evening, observe the water color and the dynamics of the fish, and grasp the specific changes of the pond. If there is any abnormality, take corresponding measures in time to prevent fish disease from occurring. Always remove the remaining grass, dirt, and weeds around the pool, so as not to pollute the water quality and affect the amount of dissolved oxygen in the water.
Fourth, to improve water quality, it is necessary to regularly add new water, increase dissolved oxygen in water, and supplement the evaporation and consumption of water. Generally, add water once every 2 to 3 days, and add water 5 to 10 cm each time to prevent fish. floating head. ①Water injection time. Under normal weather conditions, filling the fish pond with water at night can increase the dissolved oxygen in the pond water, improve the water quality, and prevent the fish from floating head due to hypoxia. ②The water flow plate falls. Fill the fish pond with new water. If the water flow directly falls from a height and rushes to the bottom of the pond, the feed residue, excrement and sludge deposited on the bottom of the pond will be washed up due to the large amount of water rushing in. In order to prevent this phenomenon from happening, a fixed wooden board can be placed where the water drops under the water pipe, so that the injected new water will fall on the wooden board, splashing water, and increasing the amount of dissolved oxygen in the injected new water.
5. Oxygenation and anti-floating When it is predicted that the floating head may occur, the water pump should be used to add water or the aerator should be started to increase the oxygen. At the same time, stop fertilizing and control the amount of food eaten, shorten the eating time, and if there is no oxygen-enhancing equipment or there is no time to increase the oxygen in the event of floating head, you can sprinkle yellow mud water and salt water into the pond, that is, use 10 kg of yellow mud for every 667 square meters of pond and add water. Transfer to a paste, add 10 kg of salt in water, mix well and sprinkle the whole pool. The starting time of the aerator should be turned on at noon on sunny days, early in the morning on cloudy days, in the middle of the night on rainy days, and not on in the evening.
6. Prevention and control of fish diseases Every 15 days or so, use 250-300 grams of bleaching powder and 125 grams of ferrous sulfate on the pond and food table, sprinkle with water, and prevent bacterial skin diseases and rotten gills. Feed garlic 2 to 3 times a month, use 500 grams of garlic according to the weight of 10 dry grams of fish, mash it and mix it into the bait, and feed it for 3 to 5 days each time to prevent enteritis and other diseases. Every 20 to 30 days, use 15 to 20 kilograms of quicklime for 667 square meters each time, dissolve it in water and sprinkle it.
