Both long-haired and short-haired cats require regular hair care. Persian cats have shiny, soft and flowing hair, which also makes Persian cats more beautiful and noble. If the Persian cat's fur is knotted, the beauty will naturally disappear, and it will also make the owner less willing to approach it. How to cut Persian cat hair knots? There are many Persian cat owners who don’t know anything about it. Today, I will share with you the solution to Persian cat hair knots.
How to cut the knotted hair of a Persian cat?
1. When trimming the hair on the chest and abdomen of a Persian cat, first Put the Persian cat in a standing position, then start with the chest and work your way up to the belly, then the inside of the limbs. Pay special attention when trimming the feet. Use small scissors to trim the hair on the toes to the length that can cover the nails, so that the hair tips just touch the ground when walking. Then use clippers to trim the hair that grows between the toes into a natural round shape.
2. Use a comb to straighten the hair on the front legs of the Persian cat, and cut off the excessively long hair with small scissors. To make it look more natural, instead of cutting it all to the same length, adjust the trim length to fit the contours of the legs. If the hair on the hind legs grows too long and can feel heavy, trim it to its natural shape with clippers.
3. When trimming the hair on the bottom of the Persian cat's feet, use your fingers to push the meat ball to the left and right, and then use scissors to cut off the long hair against the edge of the meat ball to avoid hurting the toes. The last thing to trim is the Persian cat's tail. When trimming the hair of the Persian cat's tail, you must not lift the Persian cat's tail forcefully. Although its tail is very high, it will cause greater difficulties when cutting the hair.
