Head: Eyes round, preferably dark brown, with black or brown around the eyelids. The ears are set low, long, flat, and broad, and are drooped and covered with hair. The teeth and jaws are the same length, scissors bite, and the teeth are well-aligned and strong.

BODY: Neck short and strong. The back is strong and well developed. The loin is arched, short and strong. Gait: Easy and well-coordinated, with a medium stride on the forelegs and a good forward stride on the hindquarters.
