(1) Polyculture

The green dinosaur fish has a ferocious personality, often attacking the surrounding fish and swallowing small fish. Therefore, it is not suitable for mixing with small fish species. On the contrary, they can be kept with ferocious species of the same size, and there is no problem in keeping them in the same aquarium between the same species.

(2) Environment

The green dinosaur fish is very adaptable to the environment and does not need to pay too much attention to the water quality of their existence. Weak alkaline to neutral is fine, and there is no problem if the water temperature is above 25 degrees Celsius. Plants can be properly arranged in the aquarium for them to hide when they fight.

(3) Feeding

The green dinosaur fish is absolutely not picky about food. After hundreds of millions of years of evolution, except for toxic substances and food without the ability to get it, they have nothing left to eat. Therefore, there is no need to pay too much attention to feeding. Usually, small fish, small shrimp, mealworms, internal organs and other foods can be fed to them.

(4) Breeding

The breeding period of the green dinosaur fish is similar to that of the monopod dinosaur fish, which is from December to the next year. January and February. When they are about a year old, they can be added to breeding work as broodstock. During the breeding season, the water temperature is kept at 28 degrees Celsius, which is the most favorable state for the hatching of the young eggs.
