It is painful to be bitten by a venomous snake. A little carelessness in the treatment process after a snake bite will cause complications and sequelae. The common complications and sequelae of being bitten by a venomous snake are as follows: Which ones! The following snake nets will introduce you one by one. The content of the article is a bit long, please be patient.

Treatment

Snake bite wound

1. Wound infection

After being bitten by a venomous snake, the wound is often complicated by infection due to the fact that the first aid is usually carried out in the wild, and the handling is relatively hasty, and the venom of the snake venom contains unclean ingredients and other factors. When purulent bacteria invade the wound, the infected lesions can spread to the subcutaneous, subfascial and other loose tissues, forming acute diffuse purulent inflammation. At this time, there will be redness, swelling, pain, and even general discomfort, high fever, chills and other symptoms around the wound, which must be treated in time. The treatment methods can be summarized as follows:

(1) For local treatment of snakebite, the wounded limb can be treated with cold compress or wet compress with 50% magnesium sulfate. Use 196 Levonol solution or Coptis Coptidis decoction for wet compress, or use Xiaoyanjiedu decoction for wet compress, and change the dressing 2-3 times a day. Jinhuang San or Yulu San is also very effective. If there is necrosis in the deep fascia or deep tissue, it should be incised and drained.

1. Xiaoyanjiedu Decoction: 15 grams each of rhubarb, Prunella vulgaris, wild chrysanthemum, Xu Changqing, and alum, add water to decoction, filter and apply gauze to the affected area continuously.

2. Jinhuangsan 150g each of rhubarb, cork, turmeric, and angelica, 60g each of Nanxing, tangerine peel, atractylodes, Magnolia, licorice, and 500g trichosandra, grind them into fine powder, mix thoroughly and apply place.

3. Yulu scattered hibiscus leaves and flowers in appropriate amount, grind into fine powder, and apply to the affected area evenly.

(2) Systemic treatment In addition to increasing nutrition and symptomatic therapy, antibiotics such as penicillin, streptomycin and gentamicin can be given to control infection, or Chinese herbal medicines for clearing heat and detoxification can be taken orally. For clinical syndrome differentiation and treatment, please refer to the chapter Traditional Chinese Medicine in Chapter 5 of this book.

2. Tissue necrosis

After a cobra bites a person, local deep tissue often dissolves and necroses. drainage. Before incision, a diagnostic puncture should be made to detect whether there is a thin cinnabar-colored liquid. Immediately after the incision, fill the wound with a 0.9% saline gauze strip or a 1% Levonol gauze strip to facilitate drainage and facilitate the discharge of necrotic tissue.

The five-step snake and the viper bite the limb of the patient. Due to severe bleeding, it is generally not suitable to incision, so as to avoid increased bleeding. If the swelling is severe, the local lymphatic fluid and blood flow are blocked, and it is often easy to cause tissue hypoxia and necrosis. If the necrosis is limited to the skin tissue, the scab formed by the necrotic tissue can be gradually cut off, and the granulation wound should be wet compress with normal saline or 920 (also known as Mycin) liquid (1:2500). If there is secondary infection, , In addition to the systemic application of antibiotics, local use of antibiotic liquid or Chinese herbal medicine liquid wet compress, until the necrotic tissue is completely dissolved, and after the growth of bright red granulation tissue, then skin grafting. ; For larger areas, stamp type skin grafting can be used. Skin grafting may not only promote wound healing, but also reduce scar contracture. If it is a joint part, medium-thickness skin flap skin grafting should be used, which can avoid joint function contracture and can preserve The function of the injured limb will not leave sequelae. The specific methods for removing necrotic tissue are as follows:

(1) Adopt an appropriate body position, preferably a supine position.

(2) Routine Skin disinfection.

(3) Local infiltration anesthesia is usually used before surgery, and nerve trunk block anesthesia can also be used.

(4) The size and depth of necrotic tissue removal , depending on the local situation, if the necrosis is too deep or too large, it can be carried out in stages. The incision should be large enough and the drainage should be smooth. During the operation, care should be taken to avoid damage to blood vessels and nerves.

(5) After the operation, use Vaseline gauze or saline gauze to pack.

(6) Place a sterile dressing on the wound, add a gauze bandage for pressure dressing, and observe whether there is continuous bleeding.

3. Wound ulcers

Ulcers will occur when snake bites are complicated by infection or local tissue dissolution and necrosis. Ulcer. In addition to the treatment of broad-spectrum antibiotics and a large amount of vitamins, the rotten tissue of the wound must be removed, and the wound can be wetly compressed with 1:100 neomycin solution every day, or the following Chinese herbal medicines can be used.

1 .Three flowers and one grass decoction lotion: fish 30 grams of fish, 30 grams of wild chrysanthemum, 10 grams of hibiscus, add water and appropriate amount of decoction to wash the wound while it is warm, 1-2 times a day.

2. Qufushengjisan Huang Shengdan 0.6g, borneol 1g, light powder 1g, gouache 1.6g, Qingdai 1g, calamine 1.6g, gypsum 3g, chicken Neijin 2.5g, researched together Powder, sprinkle on the wound surface, once a day.

3. Oral administration of 15 grams of Astragalus, 10 grams of Angelica, Taizishen, Salvia, Yinhua, Angelica, 3 grams of Licorice, simmer in water, 1 dose per day.

IV. Limb dysfunction

After being bitten by a poisonous snake, the vascular permeability of the limbs increases, and the fluid in the blood seeps into the body Tissue, local tension increase, circulation disorder, easy to compress nerve endings, if not treated in time, or because the limb is ligated for too long, the limb will continue to swell, or even due to ischemia Necrosis often affects the recovery of limb function. The specific treatment measures are:

1. The patient can be encouraged to actively move the affected limb, or assist the patient in passive movement, on the second day after the systemic symptoms are relieved and the local swelling begins to subside. Get out of bed after getting better.

2. Before and after the discharge of the water bath patient, if the patient still has mild swelling or lack of flexibility, the affected limb can be immersed in the Chinese herbal decoction of activating blood circulation and dredging collaterals at about 43℃, 2 times a day. times, 5 days as a course of treatment (Huoxue Tongluo Recipe: 15 grams of Chuanxiong, 3 grams of Cinnamon twig, 3 grams of Radix Glycyrrhizae, 10 grams of safflower, 12 grams of Achyranthes huai, 12 grams of Streptomyces, 15 grams of dandelion, wild chrysanthemum 12 grams).

3. Dry heat affected limb dysfunction for a long time, should use radiant heat, infrared and short-wave therapy and other methods. It is beneficial to the absorption of inflammatory exudates and tissue softening.

4. Massage, acupuncture massage, acupuncture or stimulation therapy with electro-acupuncture have better curative effect.

5. Medical sports guide patients to do automatic and passive activities.
