The fiber in the general feed is not very sufficient, so hay is still needed; due to the high palatability of the feed, rabbits are prone to overeating. Cause obesity, so rabbits over 7 months old should start to limit the amount of feed. The small miniature rabbits require higher energy due to their faster metabolism, so the amount of feed can be added a little more.

When choosing a feed, you can look at the contents on the label: more than 18% of crude fiber and 14-16% of crude protein are preferred. For rabbits that are growing or living outdoors, choose a crude protein component of about 16-22?. The calcium content should be less than 1.0 to avoid urinary tract diseases, while the fat content is about 1-2.0, which can provide the daily needs of adult rabbits. All kinds of vegetables can be eaten together.   Types, oats and barley are rich in protein. In addition to crude protein, wheat has vitamin E, and corn, sunflower seeds and dry bread are all good additives, which can add different flavors to food. However, due to the high calorie content of this type of food, it is easy to increase the body temperature of the rabbit, so the feeding should be limited.   Vegetables are also one of the favorites of rabbits, and they can be changed to different flavors once a day for rabbits over 3-4 months old. Carrots, sweet potatoes, pumpkin, cabbage, parsley, lettuce, kale, spinach, green cabbage, cabbage, cauliflower, coriander, gherkins, etc. are all good choices.   However, spinach, kohlrabi and cabbage have high oxalic acid content, which may accumulate in the body and cause excessive oxalic acid, or produce stones with a high-calcium diet, so do not exceed twice a week. There are also beans and potatoes that should be eaten less, because too much starch can easily cause swelling; as for irritating leeks, shallots, onions, etc., it is not suitable for rabbits to eat.
