(一)Correction of abnormal aggressive behavior 1.Beware of dog jealousy A dog who is usually very honest, when he finds that the owner likes other dogs or People are more or less jealous. Some show mental depression, do not like to move, or watch the owner and new favorite; some show abnormal aggressive behavior. From time to time, he made a low grunt to express his dissatisfaction and tried to drive away the enemy. If it doesn't work, it will immediately open its mouth until it bites the opponent away. Sometimes out of fear of the master, the master behaves calmly when he is present, but when the master leaves, he becomes vulgar and begins to attack. The target of the attack can be any person or animal except the owner, so other pets and children should be protected. If you let them know first, it will help to regulate the dog's emotions and reduce jealousy. Correcting aggressive behavior should first address the dog's psychological problems, not corporal punishment, which will irritate it even more. The dog should be allowed to communicate with other people or dogs, such as playing together under the watchful eye of the owner; after the owner sees friendly behavior, he should reward him in time, such as petting and food. The emotional person starts off by holding down the body and stroking the head and chest to make it feel like you care. Those that cannot be corrected and cause bites to other people or animals should be eliminated in time. 2.territorial aggression As the saying goes, dogs are not too poor, this is due to the dog's territorial awareness. Every part of the owner's house is its own territory, and any entry of strangers or animals is a violation of itself. The specific manifestations are: screaming when the door slams, and biting when a stranger enters the house. The rude behavior to visitors caused by the dog's territorial awareness should be corrected in time to avoid forming a habit. For guard dogs, 30% penalty and 70% bonus. At the same time, use the same action to let the dog understand that this is the owner's friend. Getting beaten up in front of outsiders is a very shameful thing. If you do this many times, you will form a conditioned reflex, thinking that your own interests will be infringed upon after you come. This makes it even more unfriendly. It should be noted that visitors can only pet the dog, such as gentle conversation, petting, etc., do not give food, so as not to destroy the dog's habit of rejecting food from strangers. The owner should not fight with the visitor, in case the dog misunderstands that the owner is being attacked, so he will come forward and attack the visitor. 3.Dominant aggression among dogs Two dogs (mostly males) of the same sex will fight each other when they see a female at the same time until one of them runs away. Such aggression sometimes costs blood. Therefore, the dogs that are not mated during the estrus period should be tied to the dog chain. At the same time, during the estrus period, the correction method to close other dogs is to strengthen the hierarchical relationship between dominance and subordination among the dog groups. First, observe which dog is the dominant dog without being noticed by the dog, and then the owner must give all the respect and privileges to the dominant dog when interacting with the dog group. For example, if you give it more attention, when you take the dog out for a walk, let it go out first and always walk in front, etc. If other dogs are found to be disobedient, the owner will punish them, which strengthens the dominance and obedience among the dogs. hierarchical relationship. The dog's role of dominance and obedience is an instinct, and this relationship must not be artificially disrupted. If it is found that the dog group is still fighting when the owner is absent, it means that this hierarchical relationship has not been established or determined, and the owner should help the dog group to establish this relationship. (二)Disruptive behavior correction Digging, biting, or scratching is a normal behavior for puppies that fades away with age, but For adult dogs, it is an abnormal behavior. There are many reasons for this behavior, mainly related to the emotional state of the dog, such as loneliness when alone, troubled, and loud noise in the surrounding environment, etc., which can cause this transient abnormal behavior. Some dogs may have a vicious habit and may exhibit destructive behavior regardless of time or occasion. There may also be various ways of performance. For example, some dogs may only behave this way for a certain item or at a certain location, while some dogs may not have any fixed goals. The method of correction is to treat the disease. First, it is necessary to determine the place and object of the destructive behavior, and then adopt different methods according to different situations. For items that are often damaged by dogs, remove them and place them out of reach of dogs, or place an upside-down mousetrap next to the item. When the dog bites, the mousetrap bounces and frightens the dog away. After many times, the dog will not dare to bite the item. For those dogs that do not have a fixed target of destruction, in addition to the aforementioned methods, necessary punishment measures must be taken. (三)Correction of heterophilia Pterophilia refers to the conscious intake of some non-food substances by dogs, such as stones, rubber, feces, etc. Dogs with this behavior are not only extremely unsanitary, but may also cause gastrointestinal problems from these foreign bodies. The reason for this behavior is not very clear, and sometimes it may be the lack of certain substances in the body, such as vitamins, inorganic salts, etc. Correction: Heterophilic behavior caused by lack of nutrients can be corrected by supplementing nutrients. Addiction should be carefully observed and analyzed to find out the reasons and laws, such as the types of foreign food products, under what circumstances, etc., and take appropriate measures to correct them. If it is a nutritional heterophobia, the lack of nutrients should be supplemented first. For non-nutritive heterophilia, punishment can be taken to correct it. The direct punishment method is to bring the foreign object in front of the dog. When the dog eats food, it will be reprimanded and beaten loudly, and the object will be taken away. Later, the foreign object will be moved to the front of the dog. Punished until the dog stopped eating. Some dogs are afraid of the owner's punishment, they dare not take it when the owner is present, and may return to the original state when the owner is not there. In this case, the indirect punishment method should be used, that is, smearing chili powder on the foreign object is very irritating but not harmful to the dog. Harmful items, after the dog ingests, will feel spicy and uncomfortable, and dare not eat again. It can also be corrected with a water spray gun, that is, the owner takes several water spray guns filled with water and hides them in a concealed place. After doing this several times, the dog will overcome the heterophilia. However, care should be taken not to associate the water spraying action with the owner's punishment, which should be thought by the dog to be caused by its feeding behavior. For other abnormal behaviors, the dog owner can correct it according to the above principles and methods.
