The breed classification of Shandong lion cats is mainly based on coat color. It can be roughly divided into the following four types:

1. The white lion cat

The coat is white and free of impurities. The eyes are divided into mandarin duck eyes (that is, one yellow eye, one blue eye) or double blue eyes, and three types of double yellow eyes. The mandarin duck eye is the most precious.

2. It is a black lion cat

Its shape is like a white lion cat, but its body is slightly longer, its eyes are yellow, its shoulders are white, and its abdomen is white. The hair is grayish-white, and it is also regarded as a treasure because of its very small number.

3. Whipped hydrangea

It is shaped like a white lion cat. There are black spots on the forehead, and the tail is black, long and pointed, which can be thrown up to the head, hence the name whiplash hydrangea.

4. The lion cat

Some of the back hair is gray-brown, with tabbys; some white with black and yellow spots. According to cat owners, this breed is a descendant of a cross between the White Lion and the general cat.

The biggest difference between Shandong lion cats and Persian cats is their face shape. The cat is so round and big, the nose is still high, and the frontal bone is not obvious; besides the ears, the ear base is high and the ear body is large. Occasionally, the hair grows long, but the head and face are still easy to distinguish. Furthermore, their heads, hands, and feet are long and tall, and their bodies are long, but this feature is only apparent after moulting.

When it comes to authentic Persian cats, many people think that they must be white. In fact, there are more than 30 recognized colors of Persian cats, such as orange, gray-blue and other monochrome colors. In appearance, the hands and feet of Persian cats seem to be very thick, but it is actually because the long hairs on their feet are erect, not as the feet are particularly rough as some books say.

The most special thing about the Persian cat is that it doesn't look like a cat's face. Otherwise, many Beijingers think it is cold. The Persian cat needs to buzz its mouth and hum its nose to be the top quality, and it must be the minimum. Short nose and round eyes, wide distance between eyes, small and round ears, wide distance, and more fluff on the face than Linqing cats. Even after molting, the body hair is still very soft, and the whole body is very dense. The undercoat looks like a doll in adulthood, and the feel is absolutely good. The nose is small, the forehead is high, and the forehead is low, which is very different from the Linqing cat.

The Persian cat has a flat face (flat face and a flat nose), while the Linqing cat has a short snout (that is, the mouth protrudes)
