The East Siberian Rai dog originated in Russia and originated in the 19th century. The breeders in Russia selectively raised some native Siberian fluffy dogs and let these dogs hunt with hunters. 1. Characteristics of the East Siberian Lay

(1) Appearance characteristics

Physical characteristics-The adult male East Siberian Rai dog is 55cm-63cm in height at the shoulder and weighs 18kg-23kg; the adult female Eastern Siberian Rai dog is 53cm-61cm in shoulder height and 16kg in weight -22kg. Appearance is overall strong, with strong bones and well-developed muscles.

Head Features-The East Siberian Lei has a wedge-shaped head, not very large, dark, oval, and slightly slanted eyes. The ears are pointed, triangular in shape, and relatively spaced apart. The skull is relatively broad and the occipital bulge is relatively clear. The East Siberian Lei has a muzzle about the same length as the skull, with dry, tight lips. Teeth are very white, with a scissors bite, with good bite force.

Trunk Features-The East Siberian Lei has a muscular neck, close to the length of the head, well-developed shoulder blades, a broad loin, and a well-muscled, slightly arched body. The rump is broad, long and slightly sloping, the chest is deep, broad and muscular. The abdomen is slightly raised. The East Siberian Lei has a smooth topline to the tail, which is moderately set, sickle-shaped or ring-shaped, not curled, and drooping naturally.

Coat Characteristics-The East Siberian Lei has thick, long, thick, straight coats. White cats appear on the neck and shoulders with a dense, soft undercoat. The hair of the East Siberian Lei is mainly yellow, gray, black, liver, tawny, black, and white.

The East Siberian Lay lives a relatively lively dog. It is a good guard dog and companion dog. It has a stable and stubborn personality and likes to maintain a high degree of alertness to strangers, but it must also undergo strict training.
