2. Be consistent in attitude

If your family has more than one person, remember that each member should have the same training attitude. The following situations may confuse the cats in your house: My brother doesn't like cats jumping on furniture, and he drives the cat down every time he sees it. Who knows that the family is the opposite. The younger sister loves to hold the cat on the bed and caress it, the younger brother Aimao jumps on Shuzhuo to grab the mouse on the computer screen, and the mother Aimao sits on the combed handle to watch TV with her. It is not easy to break the bad habit of cats jumping on furniture.

3. Training time

It is best before meals, when the cat is hungry, the response to learning is faster. Each workout is about five minutes long. The more times the better. It is best to train every day. If the cat gets bored, please allow it to train again. Prepare snacks during training. Cats are always cats, not dogs. Just praising cats will not be too interested in learning. Do not give more snacks, so as not to affect the absorption of nutrients in meals. I suggest that the snacks can be replaced by the cat's favorite meal food. If you find a certain brand of staple food that cats like to eat, you can save it for training before rewarding the cat, then it's okay to feed more.

4. Be patient

Cats are far less obedient than dogs, so they need to be more careful when training. Because each cat has a different personality, they absorb different kinds of training differently. Some active ones seem to learn OVER (skip) faster. It is natural to absorb commands such as STAY (don't move) if you are quiet. It takes one to two days to learn, and one to two weeks to master. For a week or two, the cat is somewhere between understanding and not understanding. So patient teaching is important.

5. Real-time reward and punishment

The memory of cats and dogs is not like that of humans. The inverted trash can while looking at the reason behind the yelling. If you don't spot the mistake on the spot, the penalty will only confuse you.
