【Overall Appearance】

Compact structure, heavy forequarters and light hindquarters, well-proportioned. Straightforward and independent. Its image resembles a lion. Courage, boldness, and self-esteem are more important than physical beauty.

Dudley Nose, Gray or Liver Nose: Beige, Yellow, or Blue Eyes; Teeth or Tongue Exposed; Overbite: Crooked Mouth; The roots of the ears are too high, too low, or set back; the spine is curved; the bones of the forelegs are straight.

The Pekingese [Size, Proportion, and Structure]

The body is stocky, stocky, and muscular. The forequarters should be relatively heavy. Ideally under 6.35kg (14lb). Body length slightly greater than shoulder height. Overall balance is extremely important.

【Head】

Skull - large, broad, flat on top. Cheeks, jaws and chin are broad. When viewed from the front, the width of the face is greater than the height. Viewed from the side, the face is flat, with the chin, tip of the nose and forehead in the same plane.

Wrinkle - refers to the raised part of the facial skin, covered with hair, starting from one cheek, across the bridge of the nose to the other cheek, dividing the face into upper and lower parts. Neck—short, thick.

【Forequarters】

【Hindquarters】

Bone less developed than forequarters. The flexion of the knee and hock joints is moderate. Viewed from behind, the hind limbs are close to each other and parallel. Point your toes forward.

【Coat】

Body coat—the outer coat is long, straight, and thick, and the undercoat is thick and soft. There is a long mane around the neck and shoulders, with a slightly shorter coat elsewhere. A long, thick coat is ideal, but does not interfere with the contoured appearance of the body, and the coat should be of good texture.

Plumes - The ears, tail, and toes are covered with long feathers on the back of the forelegs and thighs. The feathers on the toes can be retained, but they must not be too long to interfere with movement.
