Frequently bathing Samoyed is an important part of Samoyed breeding and management. Proper bathing not only keeps Samoyed clean , hygienic, beautiful, and improve the health of the Samoyed.
The bathing of the puppy Samoyed starts two months after birth and more than two weeks after vaccination. Samoyeds raised outdoors should be washed 3 to 4 times a year, and those raised indoors should be washed every 20 days to once a month. Samoyed skin does not sweat as easily as humans and does not require frequent bathing.
Let him take a walk before bathing, let him pass urine and feces, and then bathe in sequence. Put the small Samoyed in warm water at 36°C to 38°C, and remove the secretions near the anus first. Soak the sponge in shampoo diluted dozens of times, then wash the whole body from the head back, and then rinse it off with clean water. Be careful not to get the shampoo into your eyes, nose and mouth.
But sick Samoyeds and young Samoyeds (before 3 months) should not bathe them. Because the sick Samoyed and young Samoyed have poor physical function and weak disease resistance, bathing at this time will not only aggravate the disease, but also easily cause a cold.
Even for a healthy Samoyed, the bathing time should be between noon and evening, and the Samoyed's coat should be completely dry.
If the fur of sick Samoyed dogs and young Samoyed dogs is dirty, you can use a comb to gently comb it several times or wipe it with a towel.
A Samoyed must be bathed after swimming at the beach or returning from the rain.
