Poodles under half a year old should not bathe with water when they are not particularly dirty. This is because puppies have weak resistance and are susceptible to respiratory infections, colds and pneumonia, so they should be dry-cleaned. Another major reason for dry cleaning is that wet cleaning can affect the amount of hair growth, as well as the color and quality of your dog's coat. Poodles have long, curly, brightly colored coats and should be considered infrequent wet-washing.

Do not use water for dry cleaning, but sprinkle dry detergent powder on the dog's hair, wipe it off after 15 to 30 minutes, and wipe it upwards.
