There are many reasons for cats to vomit, but generally speaking, the cat's vomiting under normal conditions is the following two cases, but because the fold cat is born with the disease, so when the fold cat vomits We should carefully observe what is the reason. If it doesn't work, we should take the cat to the hospital. We should spend more time taking care of the cat's life, such as the folded cat, which is congenitally sick.
1. Hairballs
This is the most common cause of cat vomiting, and there is no distinction Longhair or shorthair, even dogs and rabbits have this problem. The typical symptoms of hairball disease are about 1 to 3 times a week, and the vomit is a strip of hair balls. If you usually feed cat grass, there will be fragments of coarse fibers.
Prevention method: comb the cat every day to remove some of the hair that should be shed to reduce the amount of hair loss, so that when the cat licks and cleans its body again, it will not lick in too much hair. If conditions permit, friends can ask them to bring back some special cat food when they go abroad. This cat food can help cats spit out hairballs, or help gastrointestinal motility to expel hairs with stool.
2. Eating too fast
Many owners may have the experience that the cat devours it as if it has been hungry for a lifetime, or eats quickly I went to grab the food of other people in good condition, but not long after I finished eating, those who had not had time to digest the food returned the same way.
Prevention: Eat small, frequent meals; if there is more than one cat, have them eat separate meals. Some people have experimented with the effect of spreading the food flat on a large plate rather than stacking it in a small bowl.
