I believe that people who have raised hamsters will encounter such a situation, so why does the little hamster vomit? Is it because the hamster vomits or some other reason because the hamster is not feeling well after eating the wrong thing? Small hamsters put food in their cheek pouches because of the small habit of hiding things, maybe because there is too much food , it is being cleaned regularly.

There are many reasons for this, it may be because there is too much food, it is regularly emptying the food in the cheek pouches to prevent spoilage; it may also be because the weather is too hot , there is a conditioned reflex to resist heat stroke. The owner should pay attention to the following two aspects:

1. Don't give too much sunflower seeds or high-calorie food, the mouse is easy to gain weight and the nutrition is unbalanced. Overweight rats are prone to heat stroke in summer, and their skin is too fat and prone to hair loss. Sunflower seeds are enough for about two to four days! It can be used as a reward food for training mice.

2. Do not feed too many fruits and vegetables at one time, as it is easy to cause diarrhea and death. Most fruits and vegetables contain pesticides, please wash with water and dry before feeding.

Hamsters also have a habit of storing food in their cheek pouches. Be careful to change the water frequently. Wash food bowls and water dispensers daily and replace with fresh food and water. Also replace the nest material. Check the cage, and leave some food such as fruit or solid feed for the hamster to eat in the place where the hamster accumulates food. The cage bottom dressing was changed once a week, and the cage was cleaned and disinfected 1-2 times a month.

But if you find that the hamster keeps vomiting, and the vomit is not food, but a sparse liquid, sometimes yellow, white, etc., and sometimes with a serious odor. If such a situation occurs, it may be that the hamster has a problem with the stomach and intestines. As a parent, it is better to take the hamster to check the body first, and scientifically treat the hamster with the help of the veterinarian, so that it can recover quickly.
