Cats are also pets that like to exercise. Do some understanding of the cat's symptoms and treatment methods, and help the cat in time when the cat suffers from heat stroke.

Symptoms

The owner must master certain first aid methods to prevent the cat from danger. If your cat has mild heatstroke, the first thing to do is reduce the temperature of the space in which the cat is living as soon as possible. If it is outdoors, move to a cool place as soon as possible, then wipe the cat's body with a wet towel to promote the dissipation of body heat, and put the wet towel on the cat's head to speed up the relief of brain congestion.

If the cat's body temperature rises, immerse the cat in warm water. When the body temperature drops to about 39-40 degrees, take the cat out to maintain body temperature. After the cat recovers, let him drink some water to rehydrate to avoid dehydration. The owner can usually use the following methods to prevent the risk of heat stroke in the cat:

1. Prepare enough water for the cat.

2. When there is no one at home, you can close the curtains to reduce the penetration of sunlight.

3. Choose some cooling pads for the cat, so that the cat will be more comfortable sleeping on it.

4. If it is a long-haired cat, you can shave it to make the skin better to dissipate heat. In addition, if the cat has severe heat stroke and is in a coma, send it to the hospital as soon as possible after simple first aid.
