Intramuscular injection of progesterone can be given to the sick dog at a dose of 2 to 5 mg/time for 3 to 5 days. and symptomatic treatment. If the sick dog is weak, it should be sent to the hospital for infusion and sugar supplementation in time. When the body temperature rises and the blood picture shows inflammatory changes, antibiotics should be injected. For symptoms such as difficulty in expelling the fetus, retained placenta or uterine bleeding, oxytocin and other oxytocin should be injected. In cases where the fetus has been putrefied, in addition to injecting antibiotics, it is also applied. 0.1% potassium permanganate solution to flush the reproductive tract.
So in order to prevent dogs from miscarriage, they must do a good job in their prenatal examinations. For pregnant dogs, they should not exercise too vigorously, and they should be extra careful about their diet. They have an impact that none of us want to see.
