Notes

Chinchilla

1. Don't buy food with additives and preservatives from the supermarket.

These things can pose unpredictable dangers to chinchillas.

Foods that are too hydrated can cause chinchillas to have diarrhea, only apples can eat a small amount of fresh.

3. Don't give chinchillas cooked melon seeds.

I feed melon seeds to chinchillas because melon seeds contain linoleic acid needed by chinchillas, which is good for chinchilla hair,

but the linoleic oil in cooked melon seeds The acid has long been exhausted, and the cooked melon seeds eaten by many people contain salt and additives. Salt can easily cause chinchillas to lose hair, and the additives are not suitable for chinchillas. For melon seeds, 10 or so a day is enough.

4. Don't give chinchillas soybeans.

Soybeans eat into the belly of chinchillas and absorb a lot of water in the intestines, which will make chinchillas feel bloated, which may lead to intestinal obstruction in severe cases, which is life-threatening.

5. Don't give chinchillas peanuts.

Peanuts contain too much oil, which is not suitable for chinchillas.
