1. Amber Gold Eyes

The Burmese cat is considered a foreign shorthair in the United States. The eye color of the breed should be golden or amber, although blue or green eyes are possible in crosses with Siamese. A purebred Burmese cat is genetically unlikely to have blue or blue-green eyes.

2. Short and smooth coat
