The Siamese (xiān) cat is a world-famous shorthair cat and the representative breed of the shorthair cat. Ethnic History Siamese cats are native to Thailand (hence the name Siamese), and more than 200 years ago, this precious cat was only kept in the royal palaces and large monasteries of Thailand, and was never at home noble. There are six main points to pay attention to when buying a small Siamese cat.
1. Check the coat
Touch the texture of the kitten's coat, whether it is smooth or not. If there are any tangles, look for fleas or other pests.
2. Check the ears
The kitten's ears should be clean and dry, and make sure that the ears are not stuffed with earwax.
Third, check the eyes and nose
The third eyelid should not protrude; the eyes should be clean and bright; the nose should be moist.
Fourth, check the mouth and teeth
A healthy kitten has a pink mouth, white teeth, and no inflammation of the gums.
5. Check the anus
Lift the cat's tail and look for signs of diarrhea. The anus should be clean with no traces of fecal matter.
6. Check the belly
Use one hand to touch the underside of the cat's belly. The abdomen should be slightly rounded and not stiff. Find out if there is a lump (a phenomenon of a hernia), then, let go of the cat to see if it is lame.
