History

The exact origin can be traced back to the 1960s, when a woman living in California, Ann Baker, started breeding puppet breeds, her first breeding The cat is called Ephine Josephine (hereafter referred to as Joe), and it is an all-white hybrid. Originally, this cat was a wild cat, and it was always running around near Amber's house. Once she was hit by a car and happened to be seen by Ms. Amberke's neighbors. She kindly rescued her and took care of her. Gradually, Joe's body recovered. During this period, Qiao was kept indoors. Although she was originally a wild cat, she was very good-natured when she was with people. Just when she gave birth to another batch of kittens, Amber noticed Joe's kittens. The kittens that Joe gave birth to in the past were very wild. But this time, after being hit by a car, I don't know what happened. Joe's kittens have changed their personalities very well. Perhaps after being hit by a car, Joe's genes in the body have changed, or it may be because he used to run around outdoors. Fan?! Anyway, Anbeke felt that these kittens had good personalities and were very special, so she wanted to experiment with breeding. Amber was originally a breeder. Before she started breeding Ragdolls, most of her cats were black. After she asked Qiao to come home from her neighbors, she went outdoors to look for kittens that Qiao had given birth to after mating with different male cats. Ann found two of them and caught them all. And the breeder that Amber found, called Warbucks, has a white nose and a white tail. Amber had him mate with other female cats, and the resulting kittens all had Siamese-like accents. Later, Ann helped them to register as Ragdoll Ragdoll cats, and promoted the broadcast in the media, which began to attract the attention of cat people, and Ms. Anbeke passed away in 1997, and she left this place in the history of the cat industry. The bloodline of the Ragdoll cat gradually spread.

Personality

Personality is docile and quiet, and has a great tolerance for pain, so injuries may be ignored. This is not suitable for letting them play outside, they should be indoor cats (otaku cats). They can live peacefully with children, dogs, and the elderly, and are very fond of being around humans, greeting their owners at the door and walking around with them. So if you are a busy office worker and can't spend too much time with them, it is best not to breed this breed, otherwise you will make them live unhappy. Very close relationship with people. They will run to the door to greet you, follow you from room to room, lie on top of you, sleep with you, and love you with all their heart. They are very tame, are often careful to avoid scratching people, and get along well with children, the elderly and dogs. Ragdolls generally like to move on the flat ground and are not keen on jumping up and down. They think that people prefer a soft meow to a loud howl, so they will sound soft and sweet.

The CFA Standard

is a large, lovely and docile species with large, beautiful blue eyes. The puppet is colored like a Siamese cat, with lighter body parts and a darker face, legs, tail and ears. In most color patterns, some white markings may appear at these ends. An ideal Ragdoll cat must be well-balanced, with no extreme features. Spayed male ragdoll cats can grow to 20 pounds (closer to 10 kilograms) or even heavier; female cats are relatively small. Ragdolls are a late-maturing breed, their coat color is not full enough until at least 2 years old, and their size and weight are not fully developed until at least 4 years old.
