History

In 1960, in Devon, England, A curly hair was found. It is another curly-haired cat, following the Cones cat discovered in Conisshire, England in 1950. At first, it was thought that the two cats were related by blood. But all the straight-haired cats were produced by mating them, which proves that the Devon cat and the Konig cat are formed by two different genes. It was first recognized in cat shows in 1967.

Character
