The head of the flower-tailed snake has a ^-shaped black spot, The top starts from the rear edge of the frontal scale, and the two sides extend behind the corner of the mouth. The outer edge is khaki. There is a black band from the back of the eyes to the corner of the mouth, and an arrow-shaped black spot on the neck, the tip reaching the rear edge of the top scale.
