The Amazonian python is not a protected animal, it is an alien species.

The Amazon python is the largest snake in the world today, with a length of up to 6 meters and a weight of 225 kilograms, as thick as the torso of an adult man; but the Amazon python is generally five meters in length less than half.

The Amazon python is considered to be the heaviest in the world snake. Likes to live in swamps, shallow streams and still rivers. Amazonian pythons are mostly nocturnal, but they are often seen basking in the sun during broad daylight.
