Blood pythons can be domesticated. Blood pythons have very high requirements on temperature and humidity, and 25-30 degrees is the best temperature. Within this temperature range, blood pythons eat and grow normally. The blood python is a tropical species in Southeast Asia and has no hibernation habit, so heating equipment and a water tray that can accommodate the entire python are a must.

The breeding places for blood pythons should be mainly carbonized bark and green space. There are water feeding utensils, wooden and stone structure caves, low plants with large crowns, thick branches and large leaves. Good light and ventilation. The breeding place is free of ant nests and stagnant water. A dedicated set of feeding utensils and medical utensils should be used.
