Appearance characteristics of the hooked blind snake

Blind snakes are small and slender, with an average body length of only about 6-17cm. Its head and tail are the same in appearance, and there is no obvious thinner neck on its body, and its eyes have degenerated into two small dots. The scales on the head are very finely divided and the same size as the scales on the rest of the body, and the tail ends with a tiny pointed scale.

Characteristics

Adults have a bright gray or purple body. The small eyes of the blind hook snake are covered with a transparent film, indicating that their eyes have lost their ability to see. Their eyes do not form images, but they still have a certain light-sensing ability.
