What does a carpet python look like

Carpet pythons range in length from 120-250 centimeters, with the longest recorded being 4 meters. The body color varies according to the geographical environment, only the type with yellow or light brown undertones and large dark brown markings. The scales outside the snout are smaller, and the hot pockets are located in the snout scales, in front of the upper lip scales and behind the lower lip scales.

A newborn carpet python is ochre red. As the snake grows, the red color will gradually recede, and it will turn into an adult body color at the age of 2 to 3 years. Adult carpet pythons have bands of yellow and dark (black or maroon) rings. They have some black stripes on their heads. Newborn carpet pythons are usually relatively easy to bite.
