The blood python (scientific name: Python curtus) is a non-venomous snake species of the Boaidae family of the suborder Serpentidae, mainly distributed in Southeast Asia, and three subspecies have been identified so far. Under normal circumstances, it will not actively attack people, and most artificially fed pet blood pythons are relatively safe.

It is a small and medium-sized python, generally no more than two meters. In the same way, the patterns and colors on the body of blood pythons of different species are partly different. For example, the background color of Borneo is mainly black, and the background color of Malay Peninsula is black. Mainly reddish brown. Most of the blood pythons in the origin are used as raw materials for making leather goods. In addition, due to the development of the pet market, some special individuals have been selected as pets. There are a small number of CBs with special colors and patterns in reptile collectors and the market, but because these special CBs (abbreviated as artificially bred offspring) are relatively rare and expensive.
