The water level of larvae is not easy to be too deep, it is 2 to 4 times higher than the carapace, and the water level of sub-adults and adults is 6 to 10 times.

The second is the choice of food. Under captivity, a wide variety of food should be provided. River fish, river prawns, suckling rats, snails, earthworms, crickets, corn worms, small non-toxic frogs, and a small amount of seafood and shellfish can occasionally receive artificial feed.
